The Philadelphia Flyers host the New York Islanders tonight and despite winning two games in a row, head coach Alain Vigneault has decided to send a big message.

Vigneault announced today that he was making one of his top forwards a healthy scratch tonight.

Travis Konecny will watch the game from the press box as AV is clearly not happy with the top forward.

"Konecny is one of our top 3 forwards. He's doing some things well; stopping at the net, scoring some goals. But he is one of players who needs to be better on 200-ft game at 5-on-5. Have talked about it, pretty much, after every game." Vigneault said during his pre game presser.

Instead, big man Samuel Morin will suit and play on the wing beside Scott Laughton and Joel Farabee.

Carter Hart gets the start while Erik Gustafsson and Justin Braun will make up the third pairing on the blueline and Philippe Myers will play with Travis Sanheim.
