After blowing up his lines today at practice, head coach Alain Vigneault said it might not stop there.
James van Riemsdyk found himself on the team's fourth line beside Michael Raffl and Andy Andreoff, but one of the three might not play.
Vigneault told reporters that there's a strong chance that he might roll out 7 defenseman tonight.
He told reporters the advantage of 7 defenseman tonight would give his struggling forwards more ice time to try and get them going.
Andreoff would be the healthy scratch if he decides to make the move.
AV also took the opportunity to confirm that Brian Elliott will get the start against the Carolina Hurricanes.
AV contemplating using 7 D tonight to give his forwards more ice time to try to get them out of their slumps. If he uses 7 D, Andreoff would sit. #Flyers
