The Philadelphia Flyers 2019-20 roster is pretty much set, however there's still two big pieces that remain unsigned.
Restricted free agents Travis Konecny and Ivan Provorov both remain without contract and training camp is just around the corner.
We heard chatter a couple of weeks ago that the Flyers and Konecny were close, but that never happened and he remains unsigned.
As for Provorov we heard the opposite, the two sides were very far apart and that Provorov was looking for $10million a season.
According to Philadelphia Inquirer's Sam Carchidi, that report was bogus however it was close.
Carchidi reports that Provorov is actually asking for $8million a season.
It's still a large ask, and some believe that we've seen the last of Provorov in a Flyers uniform.
Do you think Provorov is worth $8million a season?
The report of him asking for $10M was bogus. That said, he is asking to be paid in the $8M range. https://t.co/h01mGLOxuU
