The Philadelphia Flyers are one of the top teams heading into the special 24 team Stanley Cup tournament.
They'll be without Oskar Lindblom who spent the majority of season battling a cancer and there's a chance they might be without one of their defenseman as well.
While Shayne Gostisbehere hasn't exactly been one of Alain Vigneault's most loved defensemen, he might not be around to use even if AV wanted to.
The team confirmed that Gostisbehere had yet another surgery while the league was on pause.
Gostisbehere had another knee surgery, this time seven weeks ago.
He hopes to be 100% healthy for the playoffs, however there's no guarantee that he'll be ready to go.
Alain Vigneault touched briefly on Shayne Gostisbehere & whether he'll be in the lineup for the start of the playoffs. In short, he & the staff will use every second they can before deciding.
