The Philadelphia Flyers are now officially the worst team in the NHL with only 36 points and have lost 8 games in a row.

Looking to break out of the funk, head coach Scott Gordon made some big changes to his lineup on Thursday morning.

To start, Claude Giroux is back at center and finds himself centering a line between James van Riemsdyk and Travis Konecny.

Sean Couturier replaces Nolan Patrick on the second line between Oskar Lindblom and Jakub Voracek, while Nolan Patrick is between Scott Laughton and Wayne Simmonds.

Dale Weise sticks around on the fourth line with Michael Raffl and Phil Varone.

Gordon also switched up his defensive pairings as Ivan Provorov was skating with Travis Sanheim and Radko Gudas found himself with Shayne Gostisbehere.

Here's a look at the full lineup:

JVR-Giroux-Konecny
Lindblom-Couturier-Voracek
Laughton-Patrick-Simmonds
Raffl-Varone-Weise

Provorov-Sanheim
Gostisbehere-Gudas
