It was another devastating blow for Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Samuel Morin.
The defenseman suffered yet another ACL tear in his knee and it's going to be a very, very tough battle to get back to the NHL considering his list of injuries.
To get back to the NHL it's not only going to be a physical battle, but an exhausting battle as well as he goes through yet another gruelling rehab.
Since the recent injury, Morin has received lots of support and issued a statement to fans.
"Just wanted to say how thankful I am for the big wave of support I've gotten in the last week.
Obviously it's heartbreaking to work so hard and not get the results you want.
Never in my wildest dream when I was knocking on the doors of the NHL 3 years ago I would have imagined myself in this situation. I am fully aware that this is an enormous mountain to climb but I know I have the drive and mindset to overcome this setback.
This game has brought me more than I ever could have imagined, I truly love the game of hockey.
I will put all my effort and energy in to being healthy again so I can continue to play the game I love."
