The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher have been trying to get a deal done with restricted free agent defenseman Ivan Provorov.
However unfortunately the deal just isn't coming together and has stalled.
Fletcher has decided to move on and focus on his other restricted free agents.
According to Dave Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Fletcher has moved his focus to getting deals done with Scott Laughton and Travis Konecny.
The Flyers currently have just under $15million in salary cap space available for all three but only $27million in cap space available for next season with just 11 players signed.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of manoeuvring Fletcher can do with the three contracts when it comes to both term and money.
Philly has started contract talks with RFAs Travis Konecny & Scott Laughton. Nothing close yet, but they literally just got started on talks.
