Another loss last night and it looks like we're getting closer to some major roster changes in Philadelphia.

We've already heard lots of chatter that captain Claude Giroux will be given the opportunity to get moved to a Stanley Cup contender at the trade deadline. The Flyers would love to move him as he'll be UFA this offseason but Giroux holds a full no movement clause so he's in control of his situation.

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman actually mentioned during his latest 32 Thoughts podcast that he would be willing to bet that Giroux gets traded at the deadline.

He also mentioned another name that's honestly kind of surprising.

Friedman mentioned on his podcast that after the Giroux situation is dealt with, the Flyers will also look at moving Ivan Provorov.

The 24 year old defenseman has had a bit of a down year, not surprising considering how the Flyers have played.

He would definitely bring a very solid return on the trade market, likely better than Giroux.

Provorov is signed through the 2024-25 season and carries an AAV of $6.75million.

Would you be fine with trading Provy as long as the return is solid?
