The Philadelphia Flyers and one of their big offseason acquisitions just don't seem to get any luck.
Defenseman Ryan Ellis was re-injured and it seems it's only getting worse.
The latest update reveals that Ellis is expected to miss an extended period of time.
Head coach Alain Vigneault told reporters on Thursday that Ellis is out a minimum 4-6 weeks with his lower body injury.
Fortunately, Ellis won't be going under the knife as AV said it doesn't sound like surgery is needed at the moment.
Ellis has 5 points in 4 games for the Flyers so far this season.
More details to come.
