The Philadelphia Flyers got a beating last night at the hands of the New Jersey Devils.
It was an extremely tough loss considering the Carolina Hurricanes won while the Montreal Canadiens also won their game as they try and sneak into the playoffs.
Despite the embarrassing performance last night, there was a bright spot to take away from it.
Defenseman Ivan Provorov became just the second defenseman in NHL history to play in 300 straight games with the same team to start his career.
Head coach Alain Vigneault was full of praise for the defenseman.
“I’m a lucky coach to have come in here and found this young man that is slowly but surely coming into his prime,"
