The Philadelphia Flyers have never lost a game when Tyrell Goulbourne has been on the NHL roster. They beat both the St. Louis Blues and Buffalo Sabres over the weekend with him in the lineup and they even won the game against New York Islanders when he couldn’t make it in from Toronto because of travel issues.
The magical run only lasted three games as the team announced that Goulbourne has been sent back to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League shortly after Sunday’s game versus Buffalo concluded.
The move does not come as a major surprise with the Flyers on their bye week, so Goulbourne can stay on the ice with the Phantoms.
Do you want to see Tyrell Goulbourne get recalled when the Flyers return from their bye week?
