Philadelphia Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher has been revamping the team's defense this offseason and it looks like he's not finished yet.

While we heard the Flyers attached to a depth defenseman earlier today, it seems Fletcher might be going for a big fish as well.

According to The Fourth Period, the Flyers are showing interest in 6'8" 229lb defenseman Tyler Myers.

It's interesting because like Matt Niskanen and Justin Braun, Myers is a right shot defenseman.

What makes things even crazier is that the rumored price tag for Myers is a seven year contract in excess of $50million.

It's a lot of money for a guy who could be labeled as a second or third pairing defenseman on some teams.

He's a big body though that can block shots.

Would you like to see Myers in a Flyers uniform?
