Chatter built a little bit recently about the possibility that Philadelphia Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher could try and trade for Nashville Predators defenseman PK Subban.
At the time it was just chatter and water cooler talk, with the idea of maybe trading the younger cheaper Shayne Gostisbehere to Nashville who will face big cap problems in the next couple of years.
Well Sam Carchidi of Philly.com has blown that up and pointed towards a Subban for Jake Voracek trade.
The Predators despite some big names up front can't put the puck in the net and head coach Peter Laviolette is familiar with him.
On the Flyers side, Carchidi says Subban would be the first legitimate top flight Flyers defenseman since Chris Pronger.
Bringing leadership in the dressing room, some edge on the ice and a booming shot for the powerplay.
Would you make this trade 1 for 1?
