The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher announced a contract signing on Tuesday.

The Flyers have signed 2014 2nd round pick Nicolas Aube-Kubel to a one year, two way deal with a salary of $700k.

Aube-Kubel was called up to the Flyers for the first time last season and ended up playing in nine NHL games. Aube-Kubel wasn't able to get on the scoreboard during that span and only registered two shots.

The 23 year old was a big part of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms last year though as he registered five game winning goals and 16 goals in total.
