The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher announced a contract signing on Saturday.

The team announced they signed one of their prospects before his rights were set to expire June 1.

Philly has finally inked a deal with 21 year old defenseman Linus Hogberg after drafting him in 2016.

It's a two year entry level contract which begins during the 2020-21 season.

The defenseman had 14 points in 50 games last season with Vaxjo HC of the Swedish Hockey League.
