The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher announced five roster moves early Thursday morning.
To start, the team has placed forward Scott Laughton on long term injured reserve following his right index finger surgery.
Fletcher also assigned defenseman Samuel Morin to the AHL on a conditioning stint and he'll be joined by forward Mikhail Vorobyov as he's been sent down to the AHL.
The Flyers' GM has also called up a couple of guys from Lehigh Valley.
German Rubtsov gets his first call up from the AHL after registering six points in seven games so far this year.
He'll be joined by Carsen Twarynski on his trip to Philly as the Flyers have called him up again. The 21 year old Twarynski registered a goal in the six games he played earlier this year.
