Even though both Brian Elliott and Anthony Stolarz are expected to return soon, the Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher decided to add another one.
The Flyers claimed goalie Mike McKenna off waivers from the Vancouver Canucks.
McKenna had just been acquired by the Canucks after a trade with the Ottawa Senators on January 2nd.
He hasn't exactly turned heads this season with 10 appearances and a 3.96 goals against average and .897 save percentage.
Having played for the Tampa Bay Lightning, New Jersey Devils, Columbus Blue Jackets, Arizona Coyotes, Dallas Stars and Senators, McKenna has a 7-16-3 career record along with a 3.58 goals against average and .892 save percentage.
