The NHL will be switching it up this year with no NHL Awards.

Instead the league will be announcing award winners throughout the playoffs kind of like the NBA and MLB.

While Sean Couturier could walk away with some hardware, he might be joined by his head coach.

According to multiple reports, Philadelphia Flyers' head coach Alain Vigneault has been nominated for the Jack Adams Award.

Vigneault will go up against John Tortorella of the Columbus Blue Jackets and Bruce Cassidy of the Boston Bruins.

It's well deserved for AV who totally turned the Flyers around and had them as the hottest team in the NHL before the pause.

Philly was 41-21-7 before the NHL took it's break.
