Former Philadelphia Flyers general manager Ron Hextall has been pretty quiet since being let go by the team during the 2018-19 season.

With the Minnesota Wild firing Paul Fenton earlier this month, Hextall immediately shot to the top of the list as possible candidates.

Many believed that not only would Hextall be a top candidate but that he would likely land the job.

Unfortunately for Hextall, he'll have to continue looking for work as the Wild have made their decision regarding their next GM.

The Wild have hired Pittsburgh Penguins assistant GM Bill Guerin as their new GM and fourth in franchise history.
