It's a battle that could end up being a dangerous game to play.
While they haven't exactly stood out because of their good play, Philadelphia Flyers' forwards Claude Giroux and Jake Voracek have found themselves to be new head coach Alain Vigneault's scapegoats.
Vigneault has already demoted Voracek down to the fourth line earlier this season before stacking the Flyers first line with Voracek, Giroux and JVR.
Just a couple of games ago Vigneault called out the trio to be better and he's still not happy.
On Thursday after practice Vigneault once again called out the top line as the Flyers head coach said he needs to see more specifically from Giroux and Voracek.
Giroux carries a full no movement clause while Voracek doesn't carry any trade protection but a very ugly contract that carries a $8.25million cap hit per season through 2023-24.
AV says he needs more from G and Voracek. #Flyers
