With the opening of the 2019 NHL offseason, plenty of news regarding the 2019-20 season will come out.

While we might expect some trades and wait to see who goes where in the NHL Draft tonight,  the NHL has released some more information regarding the 2019-20 season.

On Friday afternoon the NHL announced all home openers for the 31 teams across the league.

The Philadelphia Flyers will open their 2019-20 season against the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday October 9th.

The Flyers are one of the few teams who don't play on the road in anybody else's home opener so we don't get any other sneak peeks at the 2019-20 schedule.
