After another miserable loss, the Philadelphia Flyers have decided to make some roster moves.

The Flyers lost to the Vancouver Canucks last night and have no extended their losing streak to five games.

On Wednesday morning the team and general manager Ron Hextall decided to call up some fresh legs.

They've recalled forward Danick Martel along with defenseman Samuel Morin from the AHL, while at the same time loaning forward Matt Read and defenseman Mark Alt to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The players will be available to play in tonight's game against the New York Islanders if head coach Dave Hakstol decides to get them suited up.

Morin has five points in 10 games so far this season for the Phantoms, he's got a +6 rating along with 20 penalty minutes.

Martel currently leads the Phantoms with 14 goals and 19 points which also has him ranked fifth in the league overall.
