The Philadelphia Flyers have had a brief visit from the injury bug recently, but things might be turning around.
Defenseman Radko Gudas is expected to return to the lineup tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks after missing about a week.
There's also some hopeful updates regarding some of the team's other players.
Flyers general manager Ron Hextall issued some updates on Thursday morning.
Hextall mentioned that Andrew MacDonald is on track to begin skating next while Samuel Morin is still about a week away.
The good news is that rookie forward Nolan Patrick was on the ice once again this morning and Hextall expects him to join team practice Friday or Saturday and join the team for their Minnesota/Winnipeg road trip.
Patrick hasn't played since October 24th due to an upper body injury. The 19 year old has one goal and two assists in nine games so far in his rookie season.
