Defenseman Michael Del Zotto will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 and based on his latest Instagram post, he knows that he has played his last game in Philadelphia.

Del Zotto thanked the Flyers organization, the city of Philadelphia and the fans for three great years.  He said that he made friendships that he will cherish for a lifetime while playing with the Flyers.

The Flyers signed Del Zotto just prior to the 2014-15 season when Kimmo Timonen’s health was in doubt.  He ended up scoring 20 goals, 63 points while putting up a -18 goal differential and a 50.0 Corsi For % in 167 games over three seasons.
