It seems that every season there is one player that always is to be the guy who comes through when the team needs a big goal.  Last season for the Philadelphia Flyers that guy was rookie defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere.  So far this year, it has been forward Brayden Schenn.

Schenn scored another big goal Sunday evening to tie up the Columbus Blue Jackets with just 16.5 seconds remaining in regular.  The goal came after Schenn was denied on two glorious scoring chances by Sergei Bobrovsky earlier in the game.

According to Flyers, the tally was Schenn’s eighth straight goal that has either tied the game, given the Flyers a lead or gone on to be the game winning goal.

Brayden Schenn is the 2016-17 Mr. Clutch!
