The Philadelphia Flyers take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in what could be considered an early battle for one of the final wild card spots.
The Flyers are currently sitting in the second and final wild card slot, while the Lightning are only 3 points behind them.
In an attempt to get the Flyers back on track, head coach Dave Hakstol decided to mix up his lines a bit in anticipation of tonight's game. Wayne Simmonds finds himself on what could be considered the third line, while Claude Giroux will center a line featuring Michael Raffl and Matt Read.
The Flyers have dropped five straight and seven of their last eight, while the Lightning haven't been playing much better themselves, dropping three of their last four games and have won just once in their last nine road games.
It's the last game between these two teams this season and the Flyers are still looking for their first win against them.
Here's a look at today's probable lineups:
Probable Flyers lineup
Raffl - Giroux - Read
Konecny - Couturier - Voracek
